Rate: £400 - £500 per day Inside IR35
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Permanent Salary: £50,000 - £55,000
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off 12-hour shifts, 2 days followed by 2 nights
We are recruiting an experienced Thermal Plant Operator to join a complex Energy from Waste facility in Milton Keynes. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for an experienced plant operator with a strong background in Energy from Waste, combustion, boiler operations or complex power generation. Previous gasification experience is not essential. We are particularly interested in operators who have successfully worked within an Energy from Waste facility or complex power plant and are confident operating plant during steady-state conditions, start-up, shutdown and emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate the thermal treatment plant.
- Monitor plant performance and respond effectively to operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with Environmental Permit requirements and report incidents or non-compliance.
- Work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations.
