We are recruiting for an experienced LLC Project Officer to support a major Local Land Charges migration project on behalf of a local authority. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with strong Local Land Charges knowledge and experience working with HM Land Registry migration projects.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will project manage and lead the migration of Local Land Charges (LLC) data to HM Land Registry's digital register. You will ensure all data meets required national quality standards while supporting improvements in team processes and system usage. You will also be responsible for providing regular progress updates to the project board and supporting successful project delivery within strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the migration of Local Land Charges data to HM Land Registry
- Ensure data accuracy and compliance with national register standards
- Monitor project progress, risks, and key milestones
- Produce project updates and reports for senior stakeholders and project boards
- Identify efficiencies within existing processes and systems
- Support problem-solving and resolution of migration or system issues
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders
Essential Skills & Experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of Local Land Charges services, legislation, and regulations
- Experience working on HM Land Registry migration projects
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Experience with administration software implementation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment and deliver to tight deadlines
- Familiarity with: TLC (Total Land Charges database), HM Land Registry Workbook, Uniform planning applications database or similar systems
- Strong reporting, risk management, and problem-solving abilities

- Location: Sheffield, S1
- Contract Dates: 30 May 2026 - 30 April 2027
- Rate: £17.18 per hour
