We are seeking two experienced Independent Living Co-ordinators to support residents within Independent Living Schemes, helping them maintain their independence, wellbeing, and quality of life while remaining safely in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular welfare and wellbeing visits to residents.
  • Support older and vulnerable residents to live independently.
  • Promote health, wellbeing, social inclusion, and community engagement.
  • Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, support agencies, and partner organisations.
  • Organise activities and events within communal scheme facilities.
  • Deliver effective housing management support to residents.
  • Carry out scheme inspections and report repairs, maintenance, and health & safety concerns.
  • Support residents with lifeline equipment and assistive technology.
  • Ensure fire safety, health & safety, and safeguarding procedures are followed.
  • Maintain accurate records and resident information.

Essential Criteria

  • Experience working with older and vulnerable people.
  • Understanding of issues affecting independent living, including dementia, falls prevention, isolation, and safeguarding.
  • Calm, approachable, and able to use sound judgement.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Full valid UK driving licence.
  • Daily access to your own vehicle.
  • Ability to work flexibly across multiple locations.
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
