We are currently recruiting Domestic Support staff to cover staff sickness at a nursing home in Rotherham, providing essential cleaning support to maintain a safe, hygienic, and comfortable environment.
Location: Rawmarsh, Rotherham, South Yorkshire, S62
Hours: 08:30 – 16:30, 5 days per week. Flexibility required – weekdays and weekends on a rota basis.
Pay Rate: £12.65 per hour
Contract: ASAP start, ongoing cover until Tuesday 31/03/2026
Key Duties:
- General and deep cleaning in line with cleaning schedules
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control
- Safe use and storage of cleaning materials and equipment (COSHH compliant)
- Reporting any faults or issues promptly
- Working respectfully within a care environment, maintaining residents’ dignity and privacy
Essential Requirements (Non-Negotiable):
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – required for immediate start
- Previous cleaning/domestic experience (care or similar environments desirable)
- Good understanding of health & safety and infection control
- Reliable, professional, and able to work as part of a team
