We are recruiting an experienced Painter and Decorator for a temporary role working across residential properties in the Redditch area. Location: Redditch, B98 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm 37 hours per week Contract: 10 August 2026 to 3 November 2026 Pay rate: £16.62 per hour PAYE ### The role You will carry out painting and decorating work, primarily in empty residential properties being prepared for new occupants. Duties will include: Interior painting and decorating Preparing walls, ceilings and other surfaces Hanging wallpaper when required Completing work to a high standard within agreed timescales Occasional work in occupied properties Looking after materials, tools and the work vehicle The wider role involves responsive property repairs and maintenance, including taking responsibility for completing work safely and satisfactorily. ### Requirements Applicants should have: At least two years’ relevant trade experience Previous professional painting and decorating experience Good surface-preparation and wallpaper-hanging skills The ability to work independently with minimal supervision A good understanding of health and safety A professional and respectful manner when working in people’s homes A full UK driving licence A vehicle will be provided for work use only.
