Lynx Employment Services are recruiting for a Recycling Operative to join a busy recycling facility in Mansfield. This is an ongoing opportunity for reliable, hardworking individuals looking for long-term work, with the potential for the role to continue for the right candidate.
Working HoursMonday to Friday
Rotating weekly shifts:
- 6:00am – 2:00pm
- 2:00pm – 10:00pm
37.5 hours per week
The RoleYour duties will include:
- Picking recyclable materials from the production line.
- Cleaning the plant and work areas when the machinery is not operating.
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the recycling facility.
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure materials meet required standards.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and tidy working environment.
- Assisting with the operation of plant equipment where required.
- Completing daily safety and housekeeping checks.
- Following all Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental procedures.
- Working alongside supervisors and other team members to ensure efficient site operations.
- Completing relevant paperwork accurately and on time.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual.
- Able to work as part of a team and on their own initiative.
- Happy working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Physically fit and able to undertake manual duties.
- A good communicator with a positive attitude.
- Previous experience within waste management, recycling, production or manufacturing is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
