Mansfield (NG19) £12.71 per hour Temporary to Ongoing Immediate Start Available

Lynx Employment Services are recruiting for a Recycling Operative to join a busy recycling facility in Mansfield. This is an ongoing opportunity for reliable, hardworking individuals looking for long-term work, with the potential for the role to continue for the right candidate.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday
Rotating weekly shifts:

  • 6:00am – 2:00pm
  • 2:00pm – 10:00pm

37.5 hours per week

The Role

Your duties will include:

  • Picking recyclable materials from the production line.
  • Cleaning the plant and work areas when the machinery is not operating.
  • Supporting the day-to-day running of the recycling facility.
  • Carrying out quality checks to ensure materials meet required standards.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and tidy working environment.
  • Assisting with the operation of plant equipment where required.
  • Completing daily safety and housekeeping checks.
  • Following all Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental procedures.
  • Working alongside supervisors and other team members to ensure efficient site operations.
  • Completing relevant paperwork accurately and on time.
About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Able to work as part of a team and on their own initiative.
  • Happy working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
  • Physically fit and able to undertake manual duties.
  • A good communicator with a positive attitude.
  • Previous experience within waste management, recycling, production or manufacturing is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
