An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paralegal/Legal Executive to join the esteemed Court of Protection team. This fee-earning role is perfect for a motivated, proactive individual who thrives on making a difference in the lives of vulnerable clients.
You will support a wide range of responsibilities involving the routine management of Court of Protection work, working closely with Deputies, Attorneys, family members, and external care professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Open and manage client files and documentation
- Handle all initial enquiries with professionalism and empathy
- Complete and process deputyship applications and correspondence
- Liaise with clients, Deputies, Attorneys, and care home staff
- Conduct client visits as needed (full UK driving licence and insured vehicle required)
- Manage and update schedules, registers, and spreadsheets accurately
- Input and maintain financial data, including bank statement reconciliations
- Prepare annual reports and assist with court submissions
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to uphold and promote the firm's reputation
- Strong IT and word processing skills
- Clear understanding of confidentiality and data protection principles
- Full UK driving licence and access to an insured vehicle for business use
- A confident, organised, and client-focused individual
- Law degree or equivalent legal qualification
- Prior experience in Court of Protection or Private Client work
- Familiarity with SOS Connect case management system
