- We're looking for an experienced
Repairs Officer (Voids) to join a busy housing repairs team.
### The Role
You will be responsible for managing the void property process from inspection through to completion, ensuring homes are safe, compliant and ready for new tenants. Duties include:
- Carrying out void property inspections and preparing specifications of work.
- Undertaking site safety inspections.
- Completing work-in-progress visits to monitor contractor performance.
- Carrying out snagging inspections and post-completion quality checks.
- Ensuring works are completed to required standards, within budget and agreed timescales.
- Liaising with contractors and internal teams to deliver an efficient voids service.
- Maintaining accurate records and inspection reports.
- ### Requirements
- Minimum
5 years' experience in a repairs, maintenance or voids surveying role.
Experience carrying out property inspections and producing work specifications.
Good knowledge of housing repairs, maintenance and health & safety legislation.
Experience managing contractor performance and quality inspections.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
