We are seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join our client's legal team on a temporary basis until October. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified employment law professional to work remotely, providing high-quality legal advice and support on a broad range of employment matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice on contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.
- Advise on disciplinary, grievance, capability, redundancy and dismissal processes.
- Support complex employee relations cases and employment tribunal claims.
- Draft, review and negotiate employment-related documentation, including contracts, policies and settlement agreements.
- Provide practical, risk-based legal advice to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with current employment legislation and best practice.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive with significant employment law experience.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and case law.
- Experience advising public sector organisations is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication, drafting and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to manage a varied caseload independently and work effectively in a remote environment.
