SEN Education Lawyer Fully Remote Opportunity

Rate: £55.00 per hour

Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract Type: Temp - Perm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced SEN Education Lawyer to support a busy local authority legal team within North Northamptonshire on a fully remote basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional with strong experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) and education law to join a collaborative and highly regarded team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a caseload of SEN and education law matters
  • Providing legal advice on SEND Tribunal cases, education disputes and related matters
  • Advising officers, committees and senior stakeholders on education law issues
  • Drafting legal documentation, witness statements and case papers
  • Conducting legal research and ensuring compliance with current legislation and guidance
  • Supporting the wider legal team on education-related matters as required

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive
  • Proven experience in SEN and education law
  • Previous local authority experience is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of SEND Tribunal procedures and education legislation
  • Excellent communication and case management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
