## Network Coordinator Shropshire \| Hybrid Working £15.31 per hour PAYE 37 hours per week \| Monday\-Friday Temporary Contract - 3 Months We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Network Coordinator to join their Highways team on an initial 3-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and customer-focused professional to support the coordination of works on the highway network, helping to minimise disruption and ensure compliance with relevant legislation. ### Key Responsibilities Assess permit, licence and traffic management applications.
Coordinate highway works to minimise congestion and maintain network safety.
Liaise with utility companies, contractors and internal teams to ensure works are effectively planned and managed.
Respond to customer enquiries, complaints and formal correspondence in a professional and timely manner.
Support compliance activities, including identifying potential Section 74 overruns and Fixed Penalty Notice cases.
Ensure activities are carried out in line with the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 and Traffic Management Act 2004. ### About You Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Well organised with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Able to work collaboratively within a busy team environment.
Experience within highways, street works, permits or network coordination is desirable but not essential.
A willingness to learn and develop within a fast-paced service.
