We are recruiting Grounds Maintenance Operatives to deliver a wide range of outdoor maintenance tasks, ensuring sites remain safe, clean, and well presented throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grass cutting, strimming, edging, and hedge trimming
  • Litter picking, leaf clearance, and general site tidiness
  • Shrub, hedge, and flowerbed maintenance
  • Weed control using manual or chemical methods (subject to qualifications)
  • Assisting with the use of grounds maintenance machinery and tools
  • Following daily work schedules and meeting performance targets
  • Supporting seasonal duties such as planting and winter gritting
  • Adhering to health & safety procedures and wearing PPE at all times

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in grounds maintenance or outdoor labour roles
  • Ability to use common grounds equipment (strimmers, blowers, hedge cutters)
  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable

  • LANTRA or NVQ qualifications in horticulture or grounds maintenance
  • PA1 / PA6 spraying certification
  • Experience operating ride-on mowers
