Section Engineer
to join a major highways infrastructure project in the Norwich area. This is a site-based engineering role with responsibility for taking ownership of a defined section of works, leading the planning and coordination of activities and ensuring construction is delivered in accordance with the design and contract requirements. ### The Role You will provide technical and operational leadership across your section of works, with responsibilities including: Managing, supervising and mentoring Site Engineers, Graduate Engineers and Apprentice Engineers Coordinating with engineers, supervisors, designers, subcontractors and client representatives Producing
3-month and 4-week lookahead programmes Monitoring progress against programme and identifying delays and mitigation measures Planning work sequences, constraints and interfaces Producing temporary works design briefs Reviewing designs and raising technical queries Producing and reviewing red-line drawings Maintaining accurate site records Managing plant and material requirements Monitoring subcontractor scopes and supporting
