Events Officer to support the planning, coordination and delivery of council-led outdoor events across Redditch and Bromsgrove.

Key

Responsibilities: Coordinate the planning and delivery of outdoor events.

Manage event logistics, contractors and suppliers.

Liaise with council teams, emergency services and external organisers.

Support health and safety compliance, including risk assessments.

Provide on-site operational support during events.

Build positive relationships with stakeholders and partners.

About

You: Experience in events or project coordination.

Strong organisational and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively.

Knowledge of health and safety within an events environment.

Flexible to attend occasional weekend events and travel to event locations.
