We are currently recruiting for an experienced 7.5 Tonne / Class 2 Driver to join a busy operations team based in Cambridge. This is a temporary position working Monday to Friday with a 4:00am start. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating flatbed and RoRo vehicles, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with all transport legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate 7.5T and Class 2 vehicles safely and professionally
- Carry out vehicle checks and complete relevant documentation
- Transport materials and equipment using flatbed and RoRo vehicles
- Comply with all Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Road Traffic legislation
- Maintain excellent health and safety standards
- Deliver a high standard of customer service when required
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence Category C (Class 2) entitlement
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience driving flatbed and/or RoRo vehicles preferred
- Good command of the English language
- Reliable, punctual and safety conscious
