Role Purpose
To lead and manage a commercial estate, protecting income, reducing risk and ensuring assets are managed in line with statutory and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage an estates team in line with corporate policies.
- Manage rent reviews and lease renewals, including third-party referrals.
- Reduce voids and secure best terms for new lettings.
- Monitor rent arrears, working with Incomes and Legal teams.
- Liaise with Property Management on repairs, improvements and H&S works.
- Handle tenant queries, complaints and applications to assign, sub-let or alter.
- Undertake building inspections as required.
Person Specification
- Strong knowledge of Landlord & Tenant legislation, property management and RICS codes.
- Proven experience of rent reviews and lease renewals.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead and manage staff.
- High level of IT literacy, including property management systems.
- MRICS with significant post-qualification experience in public or private sector.
