We are looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Operative to join a busy responsive repairs team delivering maintenance services across occupied social housing properties. This is a fast-paced, reactive role and is suited to candidates with a minimum of three years' trade experience who are confident working independently and providing a high standard of workmanship.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out reactive repairs and maintenance within occupied properties.
- Complete a wide variety of trade tasks, including:
- Carpentry
- Plumbing
- Tiling
- Plastering
- Bricklaying
- Fencing
- Flooring
- Groundworks
- Undertake emergency repairs and planned maintenance.
- Prepare void properties to a lettable standard.
- Deliver excellent customer service while working in residents' homes.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Minimum three years' experience in a recognised trade.
- Strong multi-skilled maintenance experience across several trades.
- Previous experience working within occupied social housing is essential.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Able to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced reactive repairs environment.
- Reliable, professional and customer-focused.
- £17.90 per hour PAYE.
- Company vehicle provided for business use.
- 37-hour working week.
- Monday to Friday working pattern with an early finish on Fridays.
- Initial 1215 week assignment with the potential for extension.
