About the Role
The Health Business Centre (HBC) is a countywide service providing central coordination for Health & Children’s Centre performance indicators, alongside Health Visiting and School Nursing administration. The HBC also acts as a key point of contact for children, young people, families, and partner agencies.
We are looking for a proactive and organised Health Business Centre Advisor to join our busy team. You will support the delivery of a countywide duty service, responding to telephone calls, emails, and written communications, while providing a high standard of administrative support to help achieve service performance targets.
The service operates Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm.
Main Purpose of the Role
To provide high-quality administrative and customer support to children, young people, families, and partner agencies, ensuring effective communication, accurate record keeping, and timely signposting to appropriate services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide information, advice, and signposting to relevant services
- Respond professionally to calls, emails, and written communications
- Maintain accurate records and quality data
- Support teams in achieving service performance targets
- Use IT systems and electronic information sources effectively
- Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement processes
- Promote a strengths-based approach consistent with Signs of Safety
