Our client is looking for an Insurance Manager in the Cambridge area. This is an initial 4 month contract with possible extension. The role is a hybrid role where office attendance is required for IT equipment collection and occasional business needs.
You must have strong insurance management experience, ideally gained within Local Government, Public Sector, or organisations dealing with public authority risks. You must have experience of insurance procurement and tender evaluation processes, with proven managerial and supervisory experience.
You must have strong underwriting knowledge, particularly around insurance placements, programme design, and procurement activities rather than claims management. You must have the ability to work effectively in a busy, fast paced environment. You must also have excellent stakeholder management and customer service skills.
