Highway Maintenance Officer

Highway Maintenance Officers Cambridgeshire \| £200 per day PAYE \| Until March 2027 Lynx Employment Services are recruiting three Highway Maintenance Officers to support a local authorityl. This is an operational, field-based role focused on highway inspections, reactive maintenance, incident response and coordinating works across the county. We're looking for candidates who have: 5 years' experience working in Highways & Transport in a similar role.

Strong experience of reactive highway maintenance , including coordinating emergency responses. A current Highway Safety Inspector qualification/certificate . Experience managing customer reports and enquiries through a digital system and reactively inspecting highway defects. Experience proactively engaging with and managing elected members . A driving licence and access to a vehicle for site visits.

The ability to work from a Cambridgeshire depot at least 4 days per week . A solid understanding of highway maintenance, inspection and relevant procedures.
