We are currently recruiting for a Waste Operative to join our client's team in Rotherham on a 3-month temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals who enjoy working outdoors and as part of a team, helping to keep the local community clean and well maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Collect household and commercial waste and recycling.
- Load refuse and recycling materials safely and efficiently.
- Work as part of a collection crew following designated routes.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Provide a professional and courteous service to members of the public.
- Assist with other environmental services duties as required.
- Ability to undertake physically demanding work in all weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good awareness of health and safety practices.
