Lynx Employment Services are recruiting on behalf of our client for 4 experienced HGV Class 2 Refuse Drivers to join a busy waste and recycling operation based in Esher. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with the potential to become a permanent member of the team.
The Role
- Driving a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle on designated routes.
- Working alongside a team of loaders to collect domestic and commercial waste.
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks.
- Ensuring collections are completed safely, efficiently and in line with health and safety procedures.
- Providing a professional service to residents and customers.
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous Class 2 driving experience (refuse or waste industry experience desirable but not essential).
- Good understanding of drivers' hours and road transport legislation.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
