We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Skilled Operative to support a busy reactive repairs and maintenance service within occupied social housing properties. This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment delivering responsive repairs, emergency callouts and void property works across a large housing stock. A company vehicle will be provided for work purposes.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out reactive maintenance and repair works within occupied properties
- Completing emergency and routine repairs to required timescales
- Undertaking void property refurbishment works
- Delivering high-quality repairs across multiple trades
- Maintaining excellent customer service whilst working in tenants' homes
- Ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently
- Accurately recording works completed and reporting issues as required
Required Trade Skills & Experience
- Candidates must have strong multi-trade experience, including several of the following:
- Carpentry
- Plumbing
- Tiling
- Plastering
- Bricklaying
- Fencing
- Flooring
- Groundworks
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 3 years trade experience
- Proven experience within occupied social housing is essential
- Ability to work within a high-pressure reactive repairs environment
- Full UK driving licence
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Must be local to the area
Additional Information
- Face-to-face interviews required
- DVLA licence checks will be completed
- Working hours may vary between:
- 8:00am - 4:00pm
- 8:30am - 5:00pm
- Early finish on Fridays
