We are seeking a talented and driven Commercial Property Lawyer to join our clients growing legal team in Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified solicitor or legal executive with strong experience in commercial real estate to work with a diverse client base, including developers, investors, landlords, tenants, and financial institutions. This is a hybrid role with 1 day per week in the office and 4 days remote working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload of commercial property matters including acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant work, lease negotiations, and property finance.
  • Advise clients on development projects, land purchases, and planning matters.
  • Conduct due diligence, draft and negotiate contracts, leases, and other related documents.
  • Liaise with clients, surveyors, agents, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth progression of transactions.
  • Provide commercially sound legal advice tailored to client objectives.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of commercial property law and regulations.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and foster strong client relationships.

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor or legal executive (England & Wales), ideally 2-5 years PQE (but all levels considered).
  • Proven experience in commercial property transactions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Client-focused with a proactive and pragmatic approach.
  • Experience in Sheffield or the wider Yorkshire market is desirable but not essential.
