The role
We’re looking for a capable and organised Commercial Administrator to support the Building Services team at an Academy Brislington site. The priority is someone who is comfortable with general administration, can keep on top of multiple tasks, communicates well and is confident working with spreadsheets, systems and financial information. You’ll work closely with the Commercial Manager and wider team, helping to keep day-to-day commercial administration running smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Providing general administrative and commercial support
- Dealing with invoice and finance-related queries
- Processing and administering supply chain payments
- Raising purchase orders and requisitions through Oracle
- Maintaining trackers, records and portals
- Supporting monthly WIP and debt reporting
- Assisting with change notices and lifecycle works
- Reviewing and maintaining relevant documentation
- Chasing outstanding actions and ensuring issues are followed through
- Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and client representatives
- Providing wider administrative support where required
About you
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Organised and reliable
- Comfortable working to deadlines
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- A good communicator who is comfortable dealing with different people
- Proactive and able to take ownership of tasks
- Accurate and methodical
- Comfortable working with financial or commercial information
Previous experience in a commercial, financial or facilities management environment would be useful. Experience with Oracle and CAFM systems would also be beneficial, but the key requirement is strong general administration and the ability to pick things up quickly.
