Pay: £12.71 per hour
Times: 1pm-5.30pm
We are currently recruiting reliable and professional Event Stewards to support the smooth running of community and live music events within the Bromsgrove area. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, interacting with the public, and ensuring events run safely and efficiently. A BASIC DBS is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main Event Site Co-ordinator during performances
- Set up and pack away the bandstand area and seating
- Collect and return keys using the access code system and securely lock the Pavilion after events
- Manage site access arrangements, including parking bollards and overflow car park assistance
- Provide access to electrical power for performers (2x standard sockets available)
- Ensure the park area remains clean and tidy throughout events
- Carry out litter picking duties during and after performances
- Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times
- Perform banksman duties when required, assisting with vehicle movements during loading/unloading
- Welcome bands and performers on arrival and act as the primary on-site contact
