We are recruiting an experienced Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner to join a well-established and growing law firm in Chesterfield.
This opportunity would suit a Residential Property Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with at least five years experience who is confident managing a varied caseload and providing support to junior colleagues.
You will take responsibility for your own residential property matters while helping to lead and develop a small team. You will also work closely with the Head of Residential Property to support the continued growth of the department.
## Responsibilities
Manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion
Handle sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity
Lead, support and mentor junior members of the team
Provide technical guidance on complex conveyancing matters
Maintain high standards of client care and communication
Ensure files meet compliance, quality and regulatory requirements
Use the firms case management system to maintain accurate records
Contribute to the continued development and growth of the department
## About you
You will ideally have:
At least five years residential conveyancing experience Qualification as a Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer Strong technical knowledge of residential property transactions Experience managing your own caseload with minimal supervision Previous supervisory, mentoring or xiskglj team leadership experience Excellent organisation and communication skills Confidence using legal case management systems A proactive and commercially aware approach ## Benefits
