We are recruiting an experienced Tractor Gang Mower Driver to support grounds maintenance operations across a large, well-maintained site in the Manchester area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid machinery experience looking for a temp-to-perm role.

The Role

  • Operating tractor-mounted gang mowers to maintain extensive grassed areas to a high standard.
  • Supporting the wider grounds team when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating tractor-mounted gang mowers safely and efficiently.
  • Cutting large grassed and open turf areas to specification.
  • Completing daily pre-start checks and reporting defects.
  • Carrying out basic machine care (cleaning, lubrication, blade checks).
  • Following set mowing schedules and work plans.
  • Safely manoeuvring machinery across site.
  • Assisting with general grounds maintenance duties as required.
  • Adhering to all health & safety and PPE requirements.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience operating tractor-mounted gang mowers.
  • Good understanding of grounds maintenance operations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workloads.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Machinery certification (or willingness to undertake training).

Desirable

  • PA1 / PA6 spraying certifications.
  • Experience within parks, estates, sports turf or local authority environments.
