The Role
We are looking for a BIM Technician to support the delivery of complex projects across the water, buildings, and industrial sectors. You will work within a collaborative design team using BIM and Digital Engineering tools to produce high-quality coordinated models and construction information.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate REVIT and AutoCAD 2D/3D models.
- Create and manage REVIT families.
- Coordinate models using BIM 360 Glue and Navisworks Manage.
- Liaise with multidisciplinary design teams to resolve clashes and project issues.
- Support project delivery by producing high-quality construction information.
- Review and improve BIM processes and workflows.
- Respond to site queries and support smaller project delivery.
- Share knowledge and best practice within the wider technical team.
Requirements
- BTEC HNC (or equivalent) in a construction-related discipline.
- Experience using Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit.
- Understanding of BIM standards including BS 1192 and PAS 1192.
- Knowledge of CDEs, coordination software, and 4D programming.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- RC detailing skills and site experience are desirable.
