We are recruiting for a Planning Support Officer to join a busy Property Services / Repairs team on a temporary basis. This is a fast-paced role supporting the planning function, with development into full Planner duties over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Using works management and dynamic resource scheduling systems
- Running job queues and booking repair appointments into operatives’ diaries
- Handling incoming calls and dealing with customer enquiries
- Providing relief planner support as required
- Supporting the team with day-to-day scheduling and coordination of repairs
- Working towards undertaking full Planner duties in line with the job specification
About You
- Experienced in a high-volume, customer-focused environment
- Confident using works management / scheduling systems
- Able to work under pressure at pace and use your own initiative
- Strong communication and call-handling skills
- Flexible approach to working hours, with the ability to work additional hours when required
- Organised, resilient and able to prioritise workloads effectively
This role is ideal for someone with experience in repairs planning, scheduling, service control or property services who is looking for a long-term temporary opportunity with scope to progress.
