Salary: negotiable Contract: Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday Additional: On\-call payments \| Relocation package available Lynx Employment Services is recruiting an experienced Airport Engineering Manager for a permanent opportunity within a large, complex operational environment. This is a key engineering leadership position, managing a team of eight engineers and taking responsibility for the safe, reliable and effective maintenance of critical engineering assets. The role has a strong electrical and high-voltage focus, alongside responsibility for a range of mechanical and operational infrastructure. ### The Role You will: Lead and manage a team of eight engineers working across multiple shift patterns Provide technical leadership across electrical and mechanical maintenance activities Support the maintenance and reliability of critical operational assets Work with high-voltage electrical systems and substation environments Ensure engineering activities are completed safely and in accordance with required procedures and standards Support reactive maintenance and engineering fault escalation Work closely with operational and asset management teams Drive engineering performance, compliance, reliability and continuous improvement Participate in an on-call rota and provide out-of-hours escalation support when required ### What We're Looking For You will need: A strong electrical engineering background Experience working with high-voltage systems, with exposure to substations Good supporting knowledge of mechanical engineering and maintenance Previous engineering team leadership or management experience Experience within a complex, safety-critical or highly operational environment Strong understanding of electrical safety, maintenance procedures and operational processes The ability to lead engineers while remaining technically credible and hands-on when required Experience within aviation, airports, automated systems, materials handling, security infrastructure or other critical operational environments would be particularly advantageous. ### What's on Offer Permanent position Salary of £49,817 – £54,143 Monday-to-Friday working pattern Additional on-call payments Relocation package available Opportunity to lead an established engineering team within a complex operational environment Face-to-face interview process Appointment as soon as possible To apply, please contact Lynx Employment Services or submit your CV for consideration
