We're recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join a busy waste and recycling operation based in Waterbeach, Cambridge (CB25). This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable driver looking for consistent, full-time work with enhanced weekend earnings.

The Role

You'll be driving a 6/8-wheel Hookloader (Roll-On Roll-Off) vehicle, collecting large recycling containers from household recycling centres across Cambridgeshire and transporting them to designated disposal facilities.

Working Pattern

Thursday to Monday (5 days per week) 05:30 - 15:30

Pay
  • £16.41 per hour
  • Additional weekend allowance of £55 per day
  • £110 extra for working both Saturday and Sunday
  • Overtime available when required
Contract

Ongoing work expected until October 2026

Requirements
  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Experience driving Hookloader/Roll-On Roll-Off vehicles is desirable, but training may be available for the right candidate
  • Good understanding of driver hours and road safety regulations
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
