We are now looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our dedicated and welcoming team, where building strong relationships with clients and providing exceptional patient care always come first.

Come and join our team on a fixed-term basis for 12 months. This is a full-time position, working three days across 32 hours to include Saturdays on a rota 8:30am-4:00pm, with no out-of-hours commitment. We are also open to part-time hours for the right candidate because we know balance matters. While our main site is in Woking, occasional travel to our Addlestone and Bagshot branches will be part of the role.

A Practice Designed for Pets and People

Our purpose-built hospital-standard practice in Woking is thoughtfully designed to give both pets and their owners the very best experience. From separate cat and dog waiting areas and consult rooms including a designated cat consultation room and a large, private bereavement suite, to spacious prep areas, two theatres, dedicated imaging and lab spaces, and comfortable wards, every detail has been created with care. We are proud to offer modern facilities such as ultrasound including VVS scans, digital and dental X-ray, multiparameters, and the option to refer when needed. You will also find plenty of space for yourself too, with a dedicated office for admin work and a large staff room with its own kitchen.

Variety in Your Day

No two days are the same here. Our vets enjoy a healthy balance of consulting and surgery, with procedures ranging from routine neutering and lump removals to soft tissue surgery. Prefer a consult-only or surgery-focused role? We are flexible and happy to shape your workload around your strengths and passions.

Skilled Nursing Support

Our experienced team of Registered Veterinary Nurses are the backbone of the practice, and we are proud of the role they play in both patient care and client relationships. Our RVNs run their own clinics, taking charge of second vaccinations, post-op checks, discharges, admits, and repeat medication injections. In theatre, they provide seamless support to our vets, ensuring every patient receives the highest standard of care. Their skill and dedication mean our vets can focus on what they do best, knowing their patients are in safe hands.

A Team That Feels Like Family

You will be joining a supportive and experienced team of seven Veterinary Surgeons, ten Registered Veterinary Nurses, student nurses, ANAs, and a brilliant reception crew. Together, we are proud to deliver a compassionate, community-focused service, and we are always looking to grow and learn. One of our vets is currently completing a certificate in Dentistry, and we regularly welcome a visiting orthopaedic specialist to the practice. Giving back matters to us too; we actively support local and national charities including Cats Protection, Guide Dogs, and Dogs Trust.

Grow With Us

Your professional development is as important to us as the care you give to patients. Whether you want to pursue a certificate, deepen your clinical skills, or simply stay curious and keep learning, we will support you with funded CPD, time to study, and the encouragement you need to grow.
