A leading organisation is seeking a commercially driven Regional Account Manager to manage and grow sales across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. This role is responsible for delivering regional sales and marketing programmes, developing new business, strengthening distributor and customer relationships and achieving revenue and EBITDA targets across multiple trade channels.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow regional accounts across multiple trade channels, achieving agreed revenue and EBITDA targets.
- Identify, prioritise and open new customer accounts in line with regional and national growth strategies.
- Deliver consultative, solution-based sales presentations using strong technical, product and category knowledge.
- Develop and implement customer-specific account plans, sales forecasts and accurate performance reporting.
- Build end-user demand through direct engagement and the execution of marketing and promotional programmes.
- Partner effectively with distributors, resellers, brokers and external stakeholders to maximise sales performance and brand equity.
- Support and adapt national marketing initiatives at regional and account level, including trade shows, training, sampling and promotional activity.
- Manage pricing, margins, budgets and routine sales contracts in line with company guidelines and approval processes.
- Monitor order fulfilment and collaborate with logistics teams to achieve OTIF (On Time In Full) delivery targets.
- Analyse customer, market and performance data to identify opportunities, manage risk and drive continuous improvement.

Your Profile:
Essential Criteria
- Proven ability to independently identify, develop and manage new and existing customer accounts within commercial targets.
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to influence customers and end-users across multiple trade channels.
- Experience working collaboratively with distributors and external partners to deliver sales and marketing objectives.
- Strong planning, forecasting and reporting capability, including margin, budget and performance analysis.
- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.
- Broad commercial awareness, with experience supporting category management, marketing programmes and digital customer platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, extensive travel and deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable commercial outcomes.
- A valid driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the island of Ireland.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferred) or relevant vocational training.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in business development or sales within consumer packaged goods or related sectors.
- Experience within wholesale, automotive, hardware, industrial or retail distribution channels is desirable.
