Digitalbox Publishing is looking for an experienced TV Guides Editor to work on which is undergoing an ambitious facelift!
You will be responsible for managing the all-important monthly streaming guides such as Best Netflix Documentaries in August and specialist recommendation lists such as 100 Best Christmas TV Episodes Ever and 50 Greatest Jump Scares in Hollywood Horror Movies.
The successful candidate will LOVE all genres of TV – reading about it, watching it… compiling lists about it!
We\’re looking for someone super-organised who\’s skilled at getting across vital information, combined with authority and opinion in short blocks of copy.
You\’ll need to be across all the streaming platforms as well as linear content and have a good knowledge of TV & Cinema past as well as present.
Alongside managing the lists, you\’ll also work on TV News & Features – which could see you announcing Line of Duty Series 7 (here\’s hoping!) when you log on in the morning and writing an opinion piece on British TV\’s greatest \’ensemble cast\’ actors who deserve a shot at a leading role after lunch.
You won\’t be fed content to churn out for easy clicks – we\’re looking for someone with bags of genuine passion for shows everyone should be watching, and an endless stream of ideas.
You\’ll join a growing team of experienced and obsessive TV journalists.
It\’s a fast-paced role that carries responsibility, so you\’ll need proven experience in the field.
