What You\’ll Do
- Own the overall Sales Academy Strategy. Develop and lead the Sales Academy for the Sky B2B Sales organisation. Define, implement, and manage the training programmes for different B2B sales channels, utilizing core and consistent training paths.
- Ensure training plans cover both existing and new sales leaders.
- Define the sales training curriculum, including sales methodology, technical/product knowledge, commercial skills, GTM strategies, and systems training tailored to various sales roles and levels.
- Continuously assess training needs and identify gaps within the sales organisation.
- Monitor, track, and report on training effectiveness and achievements.
- Make learning and development within the Academy engaging and rewarding, including qualifications, recognizing achievements, and fostering success.
- Sales Methodology: Collaborate with the Commercial Enablement Head to select and rollout a sales methodology across all Sky B2B sales functions.
- Methodology Training Plan: Develop a comprehensive training plan for Sales, Sales Management, and supporting teams, utilizing digital, instructor-led, and hands-on training to maximize efficiency and sales results.
- Embed the methodology in sales operations by working with sales teams and business owners.
- Align training with existing and new processes to ensure effectiveness and adoption.
- Operate at pace, multitasking and prioritizing to identify quick wins and execute phased success strategies.
- Own and drive the training plan with stakeholder engagement, leveraging teams such as Learning & Development, Comcast, and technology partners.
- Manage a virtual team, setting clear KPIs, motivating, and ensuring responsibility and ownership of tasks.
- Maintain resilience by adapting strategies and encouraging creative problem solving.
