As the HR Officer you will be organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently. You will be a strong communicator, both written and verbal, and have a solid understanding of HR processes and policies. Additionally, you are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Level 3 CIPD qualification, GCSEs (or equivalent experience) in Maths and English, and be working towards or willing to undertake a Level 5 CIPD qualification
- Background in working in a fast-paced environment
- Involvement in conducting pre-employment checks and onboarding
- Track record of providing advice and guidance on low-level case work, e.g. supporting absence management
- Experience of accurate and timely data entry into HR and payroll systems
The HR team supporting the Norfolk schools within Creative Education Trust is a close-knit group of dedicated professionals, comprising of a Regional HR Business Partner, two HR Officers, and a Recruitment Administrator. Each HR Officer manages their own portfolio of schools, fostering a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
