About You: Lynn Grove Academy are seeking a thoughtful and enthusiastic Design Technology teacher who brings energy, creativity and care to the classroom. We would love to appoint a Food specialist, but we are equally open to teachers from other DT backgrounds who share our commitment to inspiring pupils and helping them achieve their best. You create lessons that spark curiosity, build confidence and support pupils of all abilities to make strong progress. You value positive relationships and know how to create a calm, purposeful environment where pupils feel safe, supported and ready to learn. You communicate well, work collaboratively with colleagues and families, and enjoy being part of a school community that places equal importance on academic success and personal development. Above all, you are someone who believes in young people, enjoys seeing them grow and is ready to contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school.
Our Ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status.
- Degree in relevant subject.
- Successful experience of teaching at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Proven ability to deliver well‑planned and stimulating lessons.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
