LYNK has partnered with an SME with a small in house Cyber team to recruit a Junior IT & Cyber Analyst, reporting directly to the IT Security Manager.

This isn't a SOC role.

It's broad, varied, and hands-on across the day-to-day running of a security function; supporting vulnerability management, coordinating compliance activities, maintaining documentation, assisting with incidents and helping keep the team's cyber programmes on track.

About you

  • Background in IT support, service desk, or a junior cyber or GRC role
  • If coming from an IT background, exposure to elements of Cyber is essential
  • Organised and reliable
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft tools and familiar with IT concepts
  • Eligibility for SC Clearance - SC Clearance is not required, however there is a clearance required that is at a similar level.
  • What you'll be doing
  • Supporting vulnerability management processes and tracking remediation activity
  • Maintaining cyber security documentation, risk registers, and compliance trackers
  • Coordinating awareness and phishing simulation programmes
  • Logging and reporting on security incidents and KPIs
  • Supporting supplier and third party security reviews
  • Assisting with audit preparation and internal reporting
