LYNK has partnered with a UK based cyber security business to recruit a Managed Service Specialist. This is a senior technical Sales Engineering role, working with enterprise clients across regulated sectors. You’ll be the go-to person for shaping discovery conversations, designing technical solutions, and delivering demos that genuinely move the sales process forward.
What’s in it for you?
- £90,000 – £120,000 basic salary
- OTE of £100,000 – £140,000 (uncapped)
- This role can have a remote contract, however occasional travel to the office and consistent travel to client sites would be expected (Mostly London, but can be other areas of the UK)

What you’ll be doing:
- Lead technical discovery sessions with prospects
- Design solutions across MDR, Threat Intelligence, Risk Management, Penetration Testing, consultative services and Crisis Simulations
- Deliver tailored demos, proof of concepts, scope of works, and simulations
- Work alongside the sales team to close business with technical credibility (conversion target: 30%)
- CRM input
- Support the bid/proposal process with clear technical input
- Represent the business at events and security briefings
- Occasionally step in to support post-sales (when covering team leave)
About you:
- 2+ years in pre-sales, solutions consulting, or security engineering, with a prior technical background
- Hands-on experience in Cyber Security or IT Infrastructure
- Confident in client-facing workshops and technical presentations
- An understanding of Cyber Security services, vendors and terminology
- Strong communicator who can translate complexity into impact
- Commercially aware and highly organised
