LYNK has partnered with a UK-based Cyber Security and Managed Services provider to recruit a Business Development Manager. This is a hybrid, field-based role, ideal for someone based in Central Scotland or the North of England. Initially in-office onboarding (Stirling ideally) before moving into a field-based role with minimal office visits due to sales activity. The company is well-established and growing, operating with a relationship-first approach to business development. They generate work through networking, referrals, and warm introductions — not cold calls. This is a consultative sales role, suited to someone who thrives on face-to-face engagement and trusted conversations over traditional outbound tactics.

If you’re confident selling services (not products), comfortable operating with autonomy, and enjoy building long-term relationships that turn into revenue, this could be a great next step.

What’s in it for you?

  • £30,000 – £35,000 Base Salary
  • Uncapped OTE: £60,000 – £90,000
  • Company Car or Allowance
  • Quarterly Bonus for hitting target
  • Annual Team Bonus
  • Commission on recurring revenue
  • Up to 11% employer pension contribution
  • Employee Assistance Programme (AXA)
  • 32–33 days holiday including public holidays
  • Option to purchase up to 3 additional days
  • Support with networking group/event costs (based on ROI)

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing full-cycle B2B sales from lead generation through to close
  • Building and nurturing pipeline through events, LinkedIn, partner networks, and warm referrals
  • Representing the company at trade shows, business forums, and local networking groups
  • Identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing client accounts
  • Acting as a consultative partner to clients, solving real-world business challenges with tailored service offerings

About you:

  • You have a track record in B2B service sales — ideally in a consultative environment
  • You’re confident networking, following up on leads, and building rapport with decision-makers
  • You’re a natural communicator, comfortable working field-based with a self-starting mindset
  • You’re involved in professional networks or local business groups, and enjoy in-person relationship building
  • You’re organised, commercially aware, and take pride in client outcomes

Location: Anywhere in Central Scotland or the North of England (e.g. Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle)
