LYNK has partnered with a UK-based Cyber Security and Managed Services provider to recruit a Business Development Manager. They have offices in the North of England as well as in the Central belt of Scotland, and they are looking for someone with an established network in areas across the North of England, Scotland or beyond. This role would be field based, with negotiable expectations with regards to office travel or meetups with the team.
The company is well-established and growing, operating with a relationship-first approach to business development. They generate work through networking, referrals, and warm introductions — not cold calls. This is a consultative sales role, suited to someone who thrives on face-to-face engagement and trusted conversations over traditional outbound tactics.
If you\’re confident selling services (not products), comfortable operating with autonomy, and enjoy building long-term relationships that turn into revenue, this could be a great next step.
What’s in it for you?
- £30,000 – £35,000 Base Salary
- Uncapped OTE : £60,000 – £90,000

What you’ll be doing
- Managing full-cycle B2B sales from lead generation through to close
- Building and nurturing pipeline through events, LinkedIn, partner networks, and warm referrals
- Representing the company at trade shows, business forums, and local networking groups
- Identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing client accounts
- Acting as a consultative partner to clients, solving real-world business challenges with tailored service offerings
About you
- You have a track record in B2B service sales — ideally in a consultative environment
- You’re confident networking, following up on leads, and building rapport with decision-makers
- You’re a natural communicator, comfortable working field-based with a self-starting mindset
- You’re involved in professional networks or local business groups, and enjoy in-person relationship building
- You\’re organised, commercially aware, and take pride in client outcomes
