Due to continued growth, Lyndon Systems Ltd is looking for a skilled an practical Mobile Vehicle Technician to join our expanding team.
This is your opportunity to get out of the workshop and on the road, travelling to customer sites across the UK to diagnose, service and repair our specialist commercial vehicle conversions.
Who are Lyndon Systems?
Based in Doncaster, Lyndon Systems is an established specialist commercial vehicle conversion company. We design, manufacture and convert vehicles for major fleet operators and customers across the UK.
As more Lyndon-built vehicles vehicles take to the road, our mobile service operation is growing too. We're looking for someone who wants to be part of that journey and play an important role in supporting our customers nationwide.
What does the role involve?
No two days are the same! You'll be working on a variety of vehicles, tackling different challenges and helping keep our customers moving.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing mechanical and 12V electrical faults
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs
- Testing, replacing and repairing components
- Fault-finding and repairing specialist conversion equipment
- Attending customer sites throughout the UK
- Liaising directly with customers to resolve issues
- Working alongside our Doncaster-based technical team
- Carrying out occasional workshop-based repairs

Is this the right role for you?
We're interested in your practical skills, experience and attitude, rather than whether you've worked in vehicle conversions before.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Good practical mechanical experience
- Experience with electrical or 12V fault-finding
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- The confidence to work independently
- A professional and customer-focused approach
- A full UK driving licence (a clean licence is preferred but not essential)
The role involves nationwide travel, including occasional overnight stays and working away from home.

Basic Salary: £30,000 per annum
Potential Earnings: Up to £40,000 with overtime
