Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Flat Roofer to join our team on a full‑time basis. The role is site‑based and primarily involves working on flat roofing installations, repairs, and maintenance projects across the Dudley area and wider West Midlands. You will be working on live education and healthcare sites, where attention to detail, safety, and professionalism are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of flat roofing systems
- Working with a range of systems including: Torch‑on felt, Cold‑applied liquid roofing systems, Single‑ply membranes
- Preparation of roof decks including insulation, vapour control layers, and waterproofing
- Minor carpentry works associated with flat roofing
- Ensuring all works are completed safely and in accordance with current regulations
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site cleanliness
- Working effectively as part of a team and independently when required
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in flat roofing systems (this is essential)
- Strong knowledge of roof construction, repairs, and associated carpentry works
- Competent in installing insulation and waterproofing systems
- Ability to work safely and confidently at height
- Good physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong understanding of health & safety practices within the construction industry
