The Trustees at Victorious Academies Trust would like to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 3 at Lyndhurst Community Primary School, Dukinfield, to cover a period of maternity leave. About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled KS2 Teaching Assistant who can make a strong contribution to our dedicated team. The successful candidate will:

  • Work predominantly in Key Stage 2, supporting learning across the curriculum.
  • Bring experience of working in KS2 (highly desirable).
  • Lead small group interventions and targeted support to accelerate progress.
  • Provide clear, accurate feedback to pupils to support their academic and personal development.
  • Assist the class teacher with planning, preparation and assessment.
  • Cover classes when required, following school and Trust policy.
  • Promote independence, positive behaviour and inclusion.
  • Support pupils during midday periods, contributing to lunchtime provision and behaviour expectations.

Details about the role:

To start on 1st September 2026. This role is a fixed term contract at 33.5 hours per week – Term Time Only with an actual pro-rata salary of £22,410 - £24,302 - Grade E points 11-16.
