My Client based in the BT22 area of Co Down require a Full-time Medical Receptionist/ Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- General reception duties - greeting patients in person and on the telephone, making and cancelling appointments, providing information regarding practice services.
- Maintaining and updating files both computerised and manual.
- Typing letters, memos, referrals, and confidential reports.
- Sorting and distribution of post.
- Collecting and collating data as and when required.
- Liaising with other disciplines, outside agencies, and departments in a helpful and professional manner.
Essential Criteria:
- 5 GCSEs including English & Maths (Grade A-C).
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Fully computer literate.
- Evidence of working in a team and on own initiative.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Flexibility to cover sickness and holidays.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in a medical environment (working within a GP surgery advantageous), although full training will be given.
37.5 hours per week as follows: Mon 8.30am-5.30pm, Tues & Wed 11am-5.30pm, Thurs 8.30am-5.30pm & Fri 8.30am-6pm.
Salary: Β£12.71 per hour.
