My Client based in the BT15 area of Belfast requires a Part-time Medical Receptionist with some admin duties. This is a temporary post with the view to becoming permanent.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- General reception duties - greeting patients in person and on the telephone, making and cancelling appointments, providing information regarding practice services.
- Maintaining and updating files both computerised and manual.
- Typing letters, memos, referrals, and confidential reports.
- Sorting and distribution of post.
- Collect and collate data as and when required.
- Liaise with other disciplines, outside agencies, and departments in a helpful and professional manner.
Essential Criteria:
- 4 GCSEs including English & Maths (Grade A-C).
- Previous experience in a similar role (to include telephone & face-to-face contact).
- Fully computer literate.
- Evidence of working in a team & on own initiative.
- Excellent communication & organisational skills.
- Flexibility to cover sickness & holidays.
Desirable Criteria:
- Previous NHS Experience.
Hours: 16 per week, Tues & Thurs 8.30am - 5pm.
Salary: £13.
On-site parking.
