My Client based in the BT9 area of Belfast requires a Part-time Medical Receptionist with some admin duties. This is a temporary post with the view to becoming permanent.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

  • General reception duties - greeting patients in person and on the telephone, making and cancelling appointments, providing information regarding practice services.
  • Maintaining and updating files both computerised and manual.
  • Typing letters, memos, referrals, and confidential reports.
  • Sorting and distribution of post.
  • Collect and collate data as and when required.
  • Liaise with other disciplines, outside agencies, and departments in a helpful and professional manner.

Essential Criteria

  • 4 GCSEs including English & Maths (Grade A-C).
  • Previous experience in a similar role (to include telephone & face-to-face contact).
  • Fully computer literate.
  • Evidence of working in a team & on own initiative.
  • Excellent communication & organisational skills.
  • Flexibility to cover sickness & holidays.

Desirable Criteria

  • Previous NHS Experience.

Hours: 25.5 per week, Tues, Thurs & Fri 8.30am - 6pm, more hours may become available.

Salary: Β£13 - Β£13.50 per hour depending on experience.

Close to City Hospital train station.
