Reporting to the Practice Manager, my Client based in East Belfast requires a part-time Medical Receptionist/Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis with the view to becoming permanent.
Duties:
- Meet & greet all patients at the front desk
- Answer all telephone calls
- Answer repeat prescription line
- Passing on results to patients
- General Administration (filing; post; scanning etc.)
Although during the working day any of these areas may interchange according to the needs of the practice and patients, other duties may be added as required.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience in a similar role (to include telephone & face-to-face contact)
- 4 GCSEs A - C including English & Maths or equivalent
- Fully computer literate
- Evidence of working in a team & on own initiative
- Excellent communication & organisational skills
- Flexibility to cover sickness & holiday
- Available ASAP
- Experience in a medical environment (GP surgery) advantageous although training will be given
Available to work 28-33 hours per week between 8.30am - 6pm, Monday - Friday. Hours may vary from week to week although the rota is planned several weeks in advance.
Salary: £13.49 per hour.
