Experienced Part-time Payroll Administrator required on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Company Accountant, you will be responsible for the processing of weekly/monthly payrolls and other general administration. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and experienced individual.
Responsibilities
- Full end to end payroll to include collating weekly and monthly timesheets, process payroll using Sage.
- Payroll year end completion.
- Completion of wage and salary journals for accounts.
- Calculate and submit monthly HMRC liability.
- Administration of yearly pay reviews.
- Auto enrolment pension administration and payment through pension providers online dashboard.
- Maintaining the Time Management System for payroll processing, holidays and absences.
- Calculation of monthly commission and expenses.
- Creation and maintenance of personnel files and personnel administration.
- Administration of recruitment and FEC submissions to the Equality Commission.
- Administration and payment of union and gift aid dues and savings scheme.
- Administration and payment of deduction orders.
- General administration - wide ranging.
- Producing payroll reports, payslips, BACS payments and full payment submission to HMRC.
- Processing of starters and leavers.
- Coding notices & P45's.
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience of Sage Payroll.
- Knowledge and experience of processing statutory payments such as SSP, SPP, SMP.
- Experience of IT systems to include Word and Excel.
Further Information
- 20 or 24 hours a week; this can be either 5 mornings or 3 full days and is open to discussion at interview.
